Christmas Shaker Card & Faux Shaker Card

 Hello everyone!

I'm back today with more Christmas card inspiration!

I don't know about you, but I love shaker cards, and I love using shaker pockets to make them because it's so much easier and not messy at all.  In my YouTube video (link below) I show how easy it is to use shaker pockets from This Calls For Confetti, along with their awesome shaker bits/sequins.  And I also show what I call a Faux Shaker card made with scrapbook paper from InLoveArts that looks like shaker bits from This Calls For Confetti had been spilled all over it!

Both cards use the scrapbook paper from InLoveArts.  The first card uses the green that looks like shaker bits.  You can see that in the first two pictures, and then the third picture actually shows the shaker bits too.  The next card (red) is the Faux Shaker, and you can see what I mean about it looking like a shaker, but it's actually the paper I used.

Christmas Card Inspiration & Life Update

 Hi everyone!  It's been a while!

Just a quick note before I get to the Christmas cards.

I haven't felt up to doing blog posts for quite a while because I had a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder.  I had 3 months of physical therapy, and then finally surgery, and I'm still recuperating from that and continuing physical therapy.

I really wanted to share the Christmas cards I've been making, and the video tutorials for them.  So here we go!

I'm so happy to finally make something that I truly enjoy!

I love altering cigar boxes.....actually most any box.  There is something satisfying about watching the tranformation of a project going from trash to treasure.

I'm so excited to share this card fold with you!!! I designed this a while back and finally got around to making a YouTube video tutorial to share with all of you! It's a combination of 2 card folds melded together to create one, and I have decided to call it the Triptych Easel Card With A Twist (thanks to the help of friends) 😊
