Inspirational Shadowbox

This is my "INSPIRATION" card for Crafter's Castle first monthly challenge!!!

Challenges start the first Saturday of each month and go through the end of the month.

This month's sponsor is MHK Designs and the digital image set I used to make this sweet little shadowbox is Butterfly Wisdom

I printed out the butterflies, colored them with Ohuhu colored pencils, and fussy cut them out.  I also printed the verse from the same digital stamp set and put it inside the shadow box that I made with a Sizzix shadow box stamp & die set by Lynda Kanase.  I put two of the butterfies inside the shadowbox and one outside to add more dimension.  I used CTMH Clear Shimmer Brush on the box to add some sparkle, as well as sparkly adhesive trim along the bottom.

You can also watch my video share HERE on my YouTube channel.

Easy Shadowbox Card with MHK Designs

This is my "INSPIRATION" card for Crafter's Castle first monthly challenge!!!

Challenges start the first Saturday of each month and go through the end of the month.

This month's sponsor is MHK Designs and the digital image set I used to make this sweet card is "Friendship"

I printed out the image and colored it with Ohuhu colored pencils.  The card is made from digital paper pack "Worn & Weathered PINK" from MHK Designs.  I added a sweet little butterfly I die cut with my Cuttlebug and added a few Bitty Sparklers gems from CTMH.  And then I added some Petaloo flowers that I inked with "Picked Raspberry" Distress ink, and pink & white gingham ribbon.

Easel Card with MHK Designs January Release

I'm loving the new MHK Designs January Release digital image set... "Framed Favorites"

The second I saw this I knew what I wanted to do!
What I made is an easel card... but not to give as a card ....I have put this on my desk because I love the saying and think it is something I need to read often.

I flipped the image to create a frame for the saying.  I used Ohuhu colored pencils to color the flowers and added pearls to the center of each flower.  I used a rectangle stitched die to cut out the front of the card, and printed extra flowers to cut out to embellish the bottom of the card.

This set has so many beautiful possibilities and positive uplifting messages.  To see more inspiration visit MHK Designs Blog and also check out the challenge while you're there.
