Birthday Card With Vintage Notes

I made this birthday card for a special someone that likes the darker vintage look.  It is not what I normally do but I think it came out pretty good.

I started with a black card and layered it with a matte gold cardstock.  Next I took a card topper from the Color Me Card Toppers Ebony Lace from Paper Wishes and colored it with Brilliance "Galaxy Gold" Archival ink, as well as "Barn Door" Distress Marker around the edges.  The flowers were cut from the Cricut Imagine Cartridge "Country Carnival" (still available in Cricut Desigin Space) and were attached with foam tape for dimension.  Before attaching the layers to the black card, I weaved some black tulle through an antique brass flower buckle and then wrapped the tulle around the two layers and adhered them to the black card base.  To finish it off I used foam tape to attach the Happy Birthday sentiment that came from Embossed Word Fragments from Paper Wishes
