Fun With Color Bursts!!!

I recently bought Ken Oliver Color Bursts from Brutus Monroe and have been having sooooo much fun playing around and learning about them!!!  I loved one of my experiments so much that I used it to make this card.

I also used the Brutus Monore "Petal Lace" embossing folder and Butterfly Floral embellishments.  For a better look and to learn how I used these items, you can

Simple Valentine Shaker Card

My good friend Mynn started a brand new card challenge this month and it is called The Rainbow Card Challenge.  Each month there will be a different color for the theme, and this month it is RED.  So I decided it was time to start making Valentines for my grandkids and started with this quick & easy shaker card.  This is the first time I have used that die and I thought it would be perfect for a shaker card :)

Unicorn Shaker Birthday Card

My granddaughter's 8th birthday is in a few days and she loves unicorns so I made her this fun shaker card.

The paper, unicorn stamp and dies are from a CTMH set that is no longer available (sorry).  But you are in luck because the Iridescent Glitter Dust spray from Therm O Web is still available and also comes in silver or gold!  It gave the perfect magical sparkle to the unicorn and banner (looks much better in person).  I wish I hadn't been in a hurry to get it in the mail because looking at it now I wish I had added flowers and gems.

Cardmaking With PhotoShop Elements 11

I have been sharing different ways to use digital scrapbooking kits and I finally figure out how to use them with Adobe PhotoShop Elements 11....YAY!!!  And it's so easy!!!

Now I want to share it with you so CLICK HERE to watch my video tutorial.

It's not just about cardmaking or scrapbooking.....you can also COMBINE the two and make PERSONALIZED CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!  Here is a practice one I made for my family.

Of course I made some changes on the card we are going to send.....bigger picture and everyone's names.

 But of course I also made some Christmas cards and Birthday cards and all using the same digital kit.

I added some embellishments to them even though it wasn't neccessary with all the elements and appearance of dimension.

On this last one there are icicles and I added Liquid Glass to them to really make them stand out like they were real.
