Passport To Spring

I am honored to have been asked to be a Guest Designer this month for Taylormadecards4u.  I am using her new April release Passport To Spring kit that you can find HERE

I started off by printing out the kit and following the directions I saw in one of Monica's video that you can watch HERE This link is to her Valentine kit video but she has others.  I followed her directions for the most part but also had a few ideas of my own.  This is what mine looks like...

In the front I created a tuck to hold a couple tags.  I tore the edges and inked them with Distress Ink and stamped a sentiment on it.  I also added a charm

Using a lace edge punch I created another tuck for tags or whatever you would like to tuck in.  On the opposite page I created a pocket to hold things like ephemera, or even a photo would be perfect there.  I also added some pearls.  I die cut the vintage lady with an oval stitched die and popped it up with foam tape.

I die cut a tag from one of the ephemera pieces and on the back I stamped this sentiment

This is the card that came with the kit and I stamped "Just Because" on the front...

...and this friendship definition on the back.  Sorry to say that stamp company is no longer in business or I would give you the link.  I love that stamp set.

And when I was done with that beautiful passport book I had enough of the kit left over to make these 2 beautiful cards

To get a better view of these beautiful things I made you can watch my video by clicking HERE.  I will be sharing page by page what I did in creating these.

Please check out Monica's shop on Etsy, Taylormadecards4u, and you will find this kit and many other wonderful things.

Thanks for stopping by and...
HAPPY CRAFTING!!!
