Step Card Made Easy

I have a few followers and YouTube subbies that are beginner cardmakers and they don't have a lot of craft tools and machines.  I few requested I share some easy card folds that can be done with basic supplies.  I chose to share the Step Card.

There are many different Step folds....Side Step, Center Step, and more...but this is just the basic Step Card.

I know....a Christmas card in April right...lol  Well there are a lot of challenges that do Christmas cards year round :)

To watch my quick video on this easy card fold
just CLICK HERE

The wonderful stamp and die set I used is "Woodland Wishes" from CTMH, but it was seasonal and no longer available.  I have to say that's one of the things I don't like about CTMH is that some things are only available for a few months and then gone...sorry.  And I wish the lighting had been better so you could see the sparkle (glitter) from the CTMH Shimmer Brush

    1. Thank you so much Ina....it was fun. And for the lighting to show the shimmer I would have to try to lay it flat so the lights on the ceiling would pick it up. Oh well :) Hugs...Janie

  9. Wow that is a great step card! Such a lovely scene. Nice take on the Merry Monday theme. Nothing wrong with Christmas cards all year. Way better than a scramble near the holidays.

  16. Hi Janie! This is my first time stopping by your blog, and I'm now a follower! I have to admit, I have been making cards for a good many years now, and have NEVER tried any of the step fold card versions...maybe I will this year...Anyhow, I am stopping by to tell you how pretty I think your card is, and I'm glad you shared it with us at CHNC Extra in April! Sorry my comment is so late... :)
