Christmas Cards - Day 3 - Christmas Tree

Day 3 of my Christmas card share....and another Cricut Creation.  I really LOVE this cartridge!!!

This card was made using my Cricut Explore, but any Cricut will work, and the Christmas Kitsch cartridge.

Just like the card I posted yesterday, I embossed the front of the white card base with my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.  The front of the tree was cut from a luminescent card stock from Recollections that I got from Michael's.  I decorated the tree with gold Stickles and red Perlen-Pen by Viva, which is similar to Stickles but leaves smooth rounded drops.  I love the way it came out.

Christmas Cards - Day 2 - Christmas Stocking

Day 2 of sharing some cute Christams cards I have been making!  I wish I had started sooner so I could show you more.  I have been having fun :)

This card was made using my Cricut Explore, but any Cricut will work, and the Christmas Kitsch cartridge.

I embossed the front of the white card base with a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.  The card stock I used for the stocking is from a Recollections Christmas pack I got from Michael's last year.  I used foam tape to adhere the stocking to the card, and more foam tape to adhere the top of the stocking to give more dimension.  I used a tag die cut from the 10 Tags & Trims Cutting Die Set that I got from Paper Wishes and added a bow and jingle bell.  I am really loving these shaped cards from Cricut!

Christmas Cards - Day 1 - Frosty The Snowman

Christmas is almost here and I haven't been posting my Christmas cards!!!  What is wrong with me???  Well it's not too late so I'm starting today.

This card was made using my Cricut Explore, but any Cricut will work, and the Christmas Kitsch cartridge.

The papers I used on the card are digital from
AMB Illustrations and is from the Christmas Digital Paper Pack AMB-512 .  I used Liquid Glass from CTMH on the hat ( I would put a link but my computer isn't cooperating...sorry).  I used a Sakura silver glitter Gelly Roll pen on the band of the hat.  I used black studs for his eyes and buttons.  This card is just adorable and so easy to make and fun to personalize.  I love this cartridge and you will be seeing more cards that I have made from it :)

heART of Worship Sundays - Faith, Hope, & Love

There has been a lot going on in the world lately...especially with the presidential election a couple weeks ago.  It seems like emotions are out of control.  I have seen people turning on their friends and family because they couldn't see eye to eye on who to vote for.  I think there would be less problems in the world if we would just learn from what the Bible has to say about love and charity.

Today my Bible journaling is in 1 Corinthians 13.
I hope you like what I have to share.

I was thrilled to be able to use the "Amazing God" stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps ....the stamps were perfect for what I was doing because the set included
Faith, Hope, and Love.

Thank you for stoppping by and...
HAPPY JOURNALING!!!

God Bless You

Tussy Mussy / Potpourri Holder / Gift Card Holder

Does anyone know what a Tussy Mussy (Tussie Mussie) really is?  I didn't so I looked it up....and this really isn't a Tussy Mussy but I will go with that name because everyone else is.

So this all started when I was surfing around YouTube and saw several people making "goodie holders" out of toilet paper rolls.  I found it intriguing but wanted to make something a little more elegant and thought they would be great as potpourri holders.  You could hang them in your bathroom, bedroom, or anywhere around the house (or even in your car!!!).  After making them I had friends say they looked like little purses or gift bags....and guesswhat....gift cards fit perfectly in them!!!

Well I don't make them out of toilet paper rolls....but they are just as easy.  To learn more, please watch my YouTube tutorial video by CLICKING HERE
