2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I just had to enter one more card in the Coffe Lovers Blog Hop....and making a coffee themed card isn't easy for me.  But I gave it a good try and thought I'd make a funny one.

It's pretty simple but  I thought it was funny.

The image is from Sunsational Stamps and is called Not Myself Till That First Cup Of Brew .  I colored the image with colored pencils.  The background I did for another card and loved it so much I used it again....I made it using Gelatos.

Paper Sweeties June Inspiration

I love Paper Sweeties and this Thank You card was inspired by their June challenge.  Luckily I had the perfect die for this... Sweet Cuts Mason Jar from Paper Sweeties :) 

I used Gelatos for the background.  I paper pieced the jar and lid and then used Glossy Accents over the jar to give a glass look then sat it on the doily.  It just reminds me of a summer evening picnic.

2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Well it's that time of year again for one of the greatest blog hops ever!!!  And I am happy to be entering this card.

A coffee themed shaker card I made for a friend's birthday....and she will probably see this post before the card arrives...oh well.  And that adorable image is Sherri Baldy's pre-printed 3D Coffee Bestie but I just used a single layer for this card.

NEW SHAKER CARD!!! Lace & Pearls Variation

I have been wanting to share this for a while....and now it's time.  A Lace & Pearls shaker card!!!  In some ways it's your typical shaker card....BUT NOT....I have used LACE in place of the acetate normally used.  And I have used 3mm PEARLS in place of the sequins normally used.  These changes create an elegant card suitalbe for a wedding, anniversary, adult feminine birthday, sympathy card, and more.

Tulle Shaker Card - Inspired by Jennifer McGuire

I don't know about you but I love shaker cards.  Recently I learned a new way to make them, thanks to Jennifer McGuire, and wanted to share it with you.

It's not your normal shaker card.  Instead of using acetate for the window, you use TULLE!!!  But there is more to it than that.  You will have to watch my video to see how it's done, but I think you are going to LOVE this!!!

4th Of July Picture Frame & Easy Pinwheel Tutorial

I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Honeybunnies Treasures and was given the Sweet Liberty Mini Page Kit to work with.  Since I really don't do much scrapbooking I thought I would show other ways to work with it.  This week I decided to decorate a frame and make an easy pinwheel.
